This story was a recommendation by a Mr. Chris Pavone, round of applause!
This book was very sad to me. It showcases two sisters from the same opiate addicted mother. One turned to a life of use and the other became a cop. Their stories weave together an interesting and believable tail of the roles family members to the addict assume.
It is very sad that we even have to write stories like these, however the reality is we do. My heart empathizes with the survivors.
