I was recommended this by a man that dabbles in bud tending, yes, I said bud so when he said Braiding Sweetgrass is a good book I felt like the stars had aligned. Weed and grass…

Anyway, I was really digging this book. There is a lot of life lessons that can be learned through the perspective of a plant. Especially entwining that with indigenous knowledge was very smart. Unfortunately, I reached a page where I just didn’t want to read about plants anymore. Anyone that’s well read in my blogs knows already I’m not a fan of botany and this book truly drove home the fact that I have limited interest in plants and the watering of them and such.

Also, probably why I kill just about every plant I get ahold of. Succulents are my jam.
