I brought this home because Mr. Goldman is a Seinfeld writer and I find Seinfeld delightful. Right off the bat there is a murder to investigate and the men in blue were conducting said investigation. The body was still cooling in the bedroom, dust covering the whole scene. The neighbor (I believe) was invited in to identify the body. Right in the middle of the crime scene as it was being investigated. I can’t believe any officer of the law would mess with a crime scene’s integrity to invite a civilian in for identification purposes. I always was of the belief this occurred at the morgue…?
