Revenge is a dish best served cold…

Wow! This book is a roller coaster ride! Mr. McKinty you are quite talented! I was up until the wee hours of the morning reading this. I made it halfway through in what felt the blink of an eye. So, the end of day 1 with this book and this is what I’ve gleaned so far. There is a man named Tom whom brought his new trophy wife (it’s ok though, they are cute together) and his two teenage kids to Tom’s work conference in Australia, now turned family vacay. The kids convince the adults it would be great fun to explore and search for Koala bears. Adorable, right? It was until they ended up on a secluded island with no way off and all the locals were hunting them down. Like, hunting them down crazy mob style hunting them down. Nail biting indeed.

Fun fact from page 299. Only female mosquitoes bite. They need the blood to make the eggs.

Day 2: I finished this book in record time. I absolutely enjoyed this story from start to finish.

I would love to know if you think the campfire scene was believable? Like, wouldn’t it just attract attention? Like, so well it’d be like they were sending them smoke signals that said come find me! Here! Or am I trippin’ and it was totally believable? Please let me know in the comments. Thanks everybody!
